Lillian Trasher: The Greatest Wonder in Egypt (Christian Heroes: Then and Now)

Lillian Trasher arrived in Egypt with nothing but a calling from God and a heart for abandoned children. In the midst of political upheaval and British colonial tensions in the early 1900s, she founded an orphanage that would become known as "The Greatest Wonder in Egypt."

With no guaranteed income or support, Lillian trusted God daily to provide for the growing number of children under her care—eventually housing and nurturing thousands of Egypt's most vulnerable.

This inspiring biography reveals how one woman's radical faith and sacrificial love transformed countless lives in a land far from home, proving that when you step out in obedience, God's provision is limitless.
