La Danta
La Danta is grown in the northern parts of Peru, along the highlands of San Ignacio, Cajamarca. Over 70 producers working small farms contribute to this lot annually, united in their focus on sustainably co-existing with the nature of the region. This coffee is named for the endangered mountain tapir commonly found roaming the nearby mountain range, emphasizing the collective’s belief that prioritizing harmony with nature adds value to their coffee.
This organic coffee is fully washed and shade-dried on covered beds. La Danta is a smooth and rich cup with notes of pear, fresh cream, and root beer.
