It was woven by a collective of women artisans, using back-strap looms, a time honored method of weaving that dates back over two thousand years. Made in partnership with a non-profit organization on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala
Why do we call it the universe pillow? Because the motif symbolises the universe in Maya hand-weaving tradition.
